In 2011, we were in the market looking for a house. We met with our realtor and let her know what exactly we were looking for in our new house. She showed us several houses built by various builders, but we were not happy with something or the other. Our search ended after she showed us a house built by Pyramid. We were impressed by its workmanship. The style, design and flow were functional and contemporary.
Upon agreeing to work with Pyramid Homes, what impressed us the most was that Ahmad Younes paid personal attention to his projects. As construction on our build progressed, whenever we visited the site, it was rare not to find Ahmad present, supervising and giving his stamp of approval every step of the way. Correspondence was timely and all the decisions we needed to make were on schedule. Ahmad was also good to work with any change in plans and we were always presented with options. His turnaround time with new designs and ideas was very impressive. Our move-in date was a couple of weeks ahead of schedule. We are in the 5th year and we are enjoying our house very much, thanks to Pyramid Homes.

This was our third home build but our first custom home. We brought a floor plan to Pyramid Homes to begin our home design and with Amad’s help we made modifications to meet our specific needs. We have been in our house for six years and are happy with our choice to go with Pyramid Homes. The trim work is above and beyond what other builders offer and Pyramid is very flexible with design changes. Our Pyramid home is fantastic! It was priced around $530K when we bought it and has been a great home that is well built. We are the only home in the neighborhood with a wood burning fireplace, tank-less water heater, expanded garage and several other custom items to meet our lifestyle. We absolutely love the unique floor plan, there is not a single inch of wasted space and it’s perfect for our family. Pyramid Homes is a top notch builder and great to work with!

We decided to move further south in Overland Park in 2010. Our search brought us to a Pyramid Spec home. We fell in love with the layout and the custom finishes . Pyramid Homes worked with us on the design and finishes of the basement and additional changes throughout the entire home. They completed all 2 weeks prior to the agreed upon date. We have lived here for 6 years, and haven’t had to worry about any of the issues we have seen our neighbors struggle with. We continue to enjoy our home and would recommend a Pyramid Home to anyone.

When we told people that we were planning on building our dream house everyone said that it was going to be the worst experience that we would go through. That could not be further from the truth with our experience with Pyramid Homes. We did not have a set plan that we fell in love with so we came to the table with pieces from a number of different models and with the help of Ahmad, we were able to put together a plan that we liked.
During the building process we were amazed at the amount of time Ahmad was at the job site making sure everything was done right. In fact there was one time we were walking through the house and he made the workers tear down a wall and do it the correct way.
Now that we have been in our house for years the attention to quality has payed off as we have not had any issues with the house. If we were to ever decide to build again I would definitely go back to Pyramid Homes.

Ahmad Younes, of Pyramid Homes, built our Dream Home. Our first experience with Ahmad was over 10 years ago when he consulted with our family about building options. We were a young family with 4 small children and we needed an efficient and affordable home that would meet our needs. Ahmad not only built a wonderful home for us at that time, but he had the foresight to design a home that was perfect for us as our children grew to be active teenagers.
Ahmad’s training as both an accomplished architect and builder was key in our decision to work with him on our dream home. He provided a superior experience and better counsel for our family; more than other builders we considered. Before any designs were created or details discussed, he advised us about how to structurally improve our previous home to make it marketable for sale. He was instrumental in helping us find the perfect land lot and location for our dream home.
In addition to helping us find that land lot, he helped us understand that our family would benefit from purchasing an acreage lot that we might possibly build on in the future after our children were grown. He was instrumental in helping us secure that land.
The design process was seamless. Ahmad consulted noted interior designer Jill Tran and skilled craftsmen to create a plan that was perfect for our family. While most builders in our area offered a traditional floorplan, Ahmad thought “out of the box” and formed a plan that was inventive and offered a creative use of space. He designed an upstairs with 5 generous sized bedrooms, custom “California style” closets and 3 full sized bathrooms that also boasted generous sophisticated storage.
His design of our main floor earned him the Gold award for Custom Home of the year based on the inspection and review of many experienced judges. The design of our basement was beautiful. It was featured in several design magazines and was considered for a national TV design show. However, it eventually became a haven and entertainment center for my three teenage sons to invite friends over, and have several social events. Most importantly, Ahmad designed a home for our family to live in and feel comfortable. From every small decision about doors and trim to every major decision about the house, Ahmad consulted and advised us. He picked skilled subcontractors to give us high quality materials that have held up wonderfully over the past 10 years. We are more than pleased with the quality of our house.
On a personal level, Ahmad is a wonderful man to work with. He is patient and never condescending or dismissive to any idea or wish that you bring to him. He is an extremely intelligent and capable man. His family values and devotion to kindness and courtesy make him the perfect builder/architect to work with. He is well respected in the community and with other builders as a person of integrity and skill. Once we enter the next phase of our lives and our children grow into adults, we look forward to working with Ahmad to design our next home.
